Water - Zero Day

Water - Zero Day

When I got up in the morning

I wanted to do my duty

When Opened tap for brushing

I realized the tank was empty

I tried all the taps in home

To get a drop of water

No success however I roam

There is no trace of water

I remembered my actions

How I wasted when in abundance

Never anticipated the reactions

Now realizing my dependence

How I took it for granted

Never saved it in the past

How I should consider it as gifted

As it is not available in vast

Water - the life's need

Saving the inevitable

Should be our deed

Before becoming inaccessible

Every day revolves around it

Brushing, bathing, and cooking

Think of a day without it

Life becomes nothing

We do not think about saving

When we get it abundance

How difficult for us living

When the supply have hindrance

Now I remember the actions

The opened tap while brushing

we could have saved in small actions

Like water wasted while showering

Bucket, mug and can

Are not for decorations

Show everyone what we can

By using the water in rations

Water is not a basic necessity

To take it as granted

Think of it as a premium entity

To save it as gifted

Let's take an oath

Water is our life's soul

Travel in the path

Saving it should be our goal
