Warm Drink

I held out a cup

To my window one night 

And I watched 

As the moon 

Poured out rivers of light 

And I drank 

Many sips 

Of sunshine saved up

And I licked 

The last drop 

Of old sun from my cup

It sounds strange 

But believe me

I once drank the moon 

And it tasted like

Buttercups

Blooming in June.
