Waking Up To Reality

Waiting for the sunset, looking at the horizon

Trying to clear my heart that has been filled with poison

Poison of the world filled with hatred

That there is no room, no soul sacred.

Love, faith, affection are all graved now

Space for the cruel world has been created somehow

Today, humanity has been labeled in brand

But in reality, has been buried deep in the sand.

People are concerned with flooding rivers everywhere

But concern for human tears is seen nowhere

Sympathy is easy is to earn in this fake world

But reality somehow appeared to be blurred.

Cold hearts, narrow minds wandered in troops

Soft hearts, broad minds are found merely in groups

Miracles, hope, dream and faith

Are burned in the fire grate.

Lust is the new definition of love

Respect is clutched in ego's glove

In the blink of an eye , everything is gone

Hard to smile, but easy to moan.

Who doesn't want black heart to turn red

Someone to console after tears we had shed

Someone who can be the ray of hope

Reviving new faith by climbing the rope

Waiting for the dreary winters to go

Looking for the bright sun to glow.
