Voices of Nature
Voices of Nature
Peeping through the leaves,
Warming the branches,
The golden rays of the sun
Enlivened the Earth.
Beginning the day with a cuckoo’s song,
Soothing ears with the music of streams,
I walked past the peonies
That had stories to tell.
Of Passion, Of Suffering
Of Longing, Of Betrayal
Endless tales with boundless possibilities
Intertwined in the name of love.
I reached the seat of nature,
The golden meadows stared at me,
They had complaints to make
Of parrots that muddled them.
Mountains bellowed for me,
Woods searched for me,
They had secrets to spill
Which they were eager to instil.
With eyes full of emotion,
With a heart full of love,
With a mind full of peace,
I continued to walk……..
