Time is passing and they are still up

Reviewing, preparing, and focusing their knowledge 

All on our future to become a better version

To write our names in the hall of fame

With all the discoveries and studies

We've spent our days and nights studying hard for

With them sacrificing their family time 

Missing their kid's ceremonies at school

To watch over us and grow old

Teachers are the musketeers we deny

The fighters we blame for our bad grades

But for real they are the hero

We are here because of them today
