Under the Black Fumes Sky

Battling with machines ; the men 

 in pain ; women in sorrow 

The masters uproar for labours with lion's roar 

The Shanties wall's cracking ; roofs in black with dust 

The children in rags gazing up at the sky 

 for colourful rainbow 

The " black fumes " rises up daily ; little pennies for wages 

Exploitation; underpaid ; harassment ; scorns under the black fumes sky 

Morning to night ; with swelling hands ; sweating bodies 

Bleeding heads with painful hearts; empty tummies 

Silent tears rolls down the cheeks for a " plate of rice " ; babies cry for milk

It's a " land of sinners " no golden hums sang with sweet humming birds.
