Two Stars!

My Father always wished, to make me an Ordinary Engineer,

But I never wanted to be the man with high intellect and long beard!!

My mother has a dream, to see me owning a long car,

A man with suit and shiny boots

And Bank account with a huge Amount,

One day I will achieve these all, yes I am so sure,

All have their luck, written by hard work,

But the problem is, she is still in doubt!!

My friends and teachers... have no clue

At the very next moment what I am going to do!

They are just praying to God, to change me a lot

So that no one asks me: Shardul Dave? Who?

Sometimes in dark nights when I sit in my room alone,

Holding my baton in my hands, and I keep my governors ‘medals along.

I stare at 'Ashokstambh' design on it for really soo sooo long.

And then I think,

So what if can’t solve simple maths problems,

I have the capacity to count bullets fired per second.

So what if I am not working to own a Mercedes, 

Soon I will have my Army Gypsy which I will legally drive faster than Mercedes. 

So what if my friends who graduated with me are professionally settled somewhere,

One day I will also get settled, let me complete my passing out pared one day!

So what if she leaves me alone and left me cause of my unusual dreams,

Let me just go for my dreams and not for that girl whom I had served on my knees.

So what if I am not an engineer as my father once wished,

I can repair my weapons build up my tent and can solve survival problems at least!

So what if I am not a Richie rich manager like my mother had dreamed,

I will earn a lifestyle with a style and roughly a hundred salutes every day indeed. 

So what if the world believes in gravity? Which I really don’t believe.

Two on my left and two on my right;

 I will have four starts one day,

Yes for that I have begun my fight.
