True Love / Fake Love

I met a couple once,

But they didn't quite go along,

They weren't really meant for each other,

It was a pair made wrong.

Her heart was in his chest,

True love, is what it was,

But his heart, was never in her's,

Hatred and betrayal, is all it was.

It was like an angel,

Was paired with a demon,

She gave him his heart,

When all he did was run.

But in the beginning,

They did experience love at first sight,

But as time went on, a wound appeared,

And something didn't go right.

She loved him more than anyone,

Only to be betrayed by that filthy man,

He fell in love with another woman,

And things didn't quite go as planned.

He tried his best to hide the secret,

Thinking she'd never know,

But she did, and it shattered her heart,

And just like him, she let him go.

She realized their love wasn't true after all,

And their bond slowly ceased to exist,

She kept questioning herself,

"Was that woman too beautiful for him to resist?"

She was the person,

Whom he took time to find,

Never really realizing how much she loved him,

In the end, SHE was a RAINBOW, but HE was COLOUR BLIND.
