Travelling Time
Travelling Time
Still racing, you in life, me with you
You will be younger than yesterday,
I am every second renewed
Thy too the passenger in my line,
But I'm the passerby.
Thee 'rest' as you reach,
Though we two together climb.
And with me begins another new,
I am what, travelling time.
Everyone differently views me to treat
One use, another refuse, to both
I don't again meet.
But that part pursued, that one
runs along me with the lead.
I am a past keeper
A present maker, thee deep thinker,
Value me more than money
Value me more than distraction any
Pleasant in pleasure, painful in weep
Solid in hard work, smoothly in sleep
Slow when you waste
Fast when you haste
Scant me makes you scare,
Bountiful me brings you a glare,
Once thou hand, I flashed,
Will the arrow from the bow dash?
