Touch Of Silence

Striking are the effects of a silent mouth,

Keeping away chaos, hatred, and shout,

It is the silence that hides behind each storm,

Maintaining peace and keeping us warm.

We've all been through that nasty race,

Where winning against another, is the only chase,

But now it's time, to stop and think,

Is my attitude good or only producing a stink?

It's mostly true, that none are wrong,

Each has a perception and sing a different a song,

I judge myself on the intentions of my heart,

While others I judge, on outcomes of their part.

So here's a challenge for you and me,

Let's sit silently, to hear another man's plea,

Maybe all the conflicts will just turn around,

Being peacefully settled, without the slightest sound.
