Three Keys
Three Keys
For being good you need three keys
To learn those study the monkeys
One says, close your eyes
Don't see the evil, be a little wise
Then says the second to shut you mouth
See that from there no evil comes out
Says the third to close the ears
Keep away from bad words, evil doesn't hear
Came then the first
And listen to his worst
I have closed my eyes, but I can hear and talk
My ears and mouth, how shall I lock
Then thought the other two
Even their thoughts askew
Same is with us
The other two free may make a fuss
Then the three kept thinking
What can be done they tried linking
One of them said
His hands down he laid
Asked the others to do the same
I'll teach the rule of the game
Lay your hands upon mine and make it clear
No need to hold them, now don't fear
Just keep your mind open
Only one thing you learn
Whatever is your act
Study the fact
Evil you speak, listen or see
It is devilish, good is what you have to be
Just
Good is what you have to be.
