This Body Is God’s Temple
This Body Is God’s Temple

This body is God's temple,
If God dwells in me.
In the light of the heart,
The only God I see.
Every word is a holy chanting,
Each movement is a prayer.
This world becomes the heaven,
When I know how to care.
I am conscious of the sorrow,
Not in any of my dreams,
But I can bear all the sufferings,
Like the fortunate pilgrims.
The beautiful temple of my God,
I would clean it everyday,
I would make it strong and holy,
Where every day I pray.
As long as God dwells in this temple,
It is a holy and peaceful shrine.
When I allow the devil to stay in me,
I claim this body as mine.
