Mother tree cries
When we sometimes tear
And sometimes peel off her offspring
In front of her eyes
Mother deer cries
When occasionally for self-centered pleasures
We take the life of her mute child
They too cry like you and me
The only difference is that
We are blind enough to see
Only some have that persona
With which, despite being really blind
They see the things which go beyond eyesight
The compassion a mother has for her child.
