They Say

They tell me, they love me

Why do I not feel anything?

They say I am their first love 

Why do I feel so lonely 

I feel nothing

They say love someone who loves you

 but that is so not true

 How can you love someone if you don't feel anything

 Do I not believe them that they have something for me? Maybe not

Because who are we kidding

Which one of them was there

 with me 

 In my times of despair? 

 When I felt the loneliest of all when inside my mind it was dark

 But how would they know about it

 I didn't let them see. Never. 

 I don't think I will ever.
