The Traveler

The Traveler

The traveler settles,

In the embers that roared and bustled? That devoured and engulfed?

In the cold that froze and stagnated? That cut and stunted?

In the dark that was foul and sadistic? That corrupted all it touched?

Or in the sunlight that beaconed and channeled?

Or with the gust of wind which calmed and purified?

Where will the traveler settle? It is always up to the traveler, always.
