The SUMMER'S EFFULGENCE

The Summer's Effulgence

Summer night gives me an uneasy sleep

Hypnotic wand of Nor'westers takes me

to the dream world 

closing my eyes 

My eyes are now opened 

I greet the spirit giving 

Morning Sun

staring at him through

my window 

A little sparrow sits on my window sill 

Hopping and chirping

The scorching summer loses its hold

I got up from the bed 

My gaze passed between the window

railings 

focussing on the grass-covered path beyond the window 

Summer forenoon was

manageable by the 

grace of Nor'wester

Natural airconditioner 

Mid day & afternoon 

again are subdued by 

the Summer Sun

Coolness is converted

into hotness

Cold drinks bestows

refreshment 

Staple food as lunch

Rendering ample self contentment 

with the sweet curd dessert

Summer Sun though it 

bewilders mankind with

heat and very hot postures, it leaves a lesson  for the mankind to be utmost loyal to your benevolent qualities and serve the

Mankind with unconditional love and

Sympathy up to eternity.
