The Park

The Park

The swings are still....

The slides are numb...

The merry-go-round has quit...

The see-saw came to a halt...

Playful kids are seen nowhere....

For the deadly disease everywhere...

But don't ever fret!

This too shall pass...

The clouds will be gone ...

The skies will be clear...

The noise will be back...

The Cheers and the claps!!!

The kids will play....

Make merry and they'll say...

We are the true warriors...

Who fought and won the battle...

Of staying indoors and playing safe...

The celebrations will be back...

Everything on track!!!

The rides will be full...

Twinkling eyes of kids...

And happy faces of moms...

Will fill the air with fun and love...

Then let's shake a leg and say a big "Wow"....
