The Origin Of Love! (Two Equal Halves Make A Whole)

The Origin Of Love! (Two Equal Halves Make A Whole)

An emotional dilemma

In the course of life,

Is the phase of transition.

Her heart began to sink,

As she bid adieu to her partner in crime.

Layered in a multitude of emotions,

And tears rolling down to her chin,

She tied a string on his hand,

As a token of remembrance.

For miles away,

They are attached to a string of love and life.

The home was filled with void,

An emptiness that was a pang in her heart,

Each wall narrated their mischiefs and

Fabricated hatred for each other,

Which, in fact, was the unspoken love.

A thread of art woven with time,

Spoke eloquently of their repertoire.

Men,

Like every man,

He, from the fraternity

Hesitated to be expressive.

That day, even he cried,

Leaving his home and his partner in crime.

A day would come in his life,

When he takes a walk in the past.

Dating to his youngest love,

When a child loved his sister.

Since, then the sacred thread,

Has garnered immense love.

An admirable journey,

As they look back

And recapitulate.

Separations are a proof

That togetherness was a virtue,

And how incompleteness feels like.

His tender love is now mature,

And he prepares for a journey ahead.

Life, known to be less static,

And time is no stationary,

She has to be set in a palanquin.

He embraces the separation of today,

As preparation for tomorrow.

He, who is emotionally perturbed,

She, who has matured to let him go,

For life, he dreamt of.

A love reciprocated,

And responsibilities equally shared,

The moral support of the family,

Has all grown up,

Fighting, falling, learning, teaching and,

Most vividly loving each other.
