The Noise of Nature

The Noise of Nature

I sit under the moving clouds

With the darkness surrounding me

There are no birds chirping or the crickets making a fuss

Just here and there a horn a scooter rolling its wheels

Just an AC blown to its full power

And a faint rustling of the leaves

And in all that calmness there sweeps a wind across

That asks me is this how things were meant to be

Is this how nature sounds now?

Just here and there a horn a scooter rolling its wheels

Just an AC blown to its full power

And a faint rustling of the leaves

And in all that calmness there sweeps a wind across

That asks me is this how things were meant to be

Is this how nature sounds now?
