The Naval Sailor

The fond memories of the sea,

The ocean …. and the breeze,

The salt in the mouth,

And words the captain would spout;

The training, the commanding,

The giving, the demanding,

The child, the wife,

All a part of a sailor’s life;

The moving, the transferring,

The grieving, the satisfying,

The good and the bad,

All that will drive you mad;

To go to foreign shores,

 Come back with interesting memoirs,

Watch the awaiting faces asunder,

Light up with amazement and wonder;

To prepare for an attack or a transfer,

Ever ready is his ‘Call to Answer’

A life full of vast celebrations and some desolations,

Exams in a diorama, but always the determination;

A sailor is a part of the ocean, a part of the sea,

With lots of potions, obstacles in between,

But you see, even after all this brouhaha in the maze,

A sailor is a wave…

Unpredictable is the place he will go ….

Unbelievable is what he will see ..

Unreachable, when in is his zone ….

 Unstoppable, he will be ….

He serves the nation,

And for that, he has a notation,

At sea or in a deeper ocean,

The Navy is his vocation….
