The Lost Girl

The Lost Girl

2 mins
7.2K

A bright sunny day,

a lost poor girl trying to sleep in the uncomfortable hay.

She sees an eagle searching for it"s prey,

and the sky slowly turning grey.

Wanting to save her life from the rain,

she starts searching,

for a safe place,

in her clothes which were stained.

She finds a safe place,

after walking for a mile.

Though it was a wrecked hut,

it brought her a smile.

"Please help me!", she cried,

standing on the door.

The door turns out to be open,

a lady lying on the floor.

Though she had now found a shelter,

it was not enough.

Wanted to save the lady's life now,

which was quiet tough.

So collecting some water,

in her clothes as it rained,

she splashed it on the lady's face,

the lady's senses were regained.

The lady thanks the girl.

Tells her she fainted due to hunger.

Asks the girl to get her some fruits,

the girl goes back to the jungle.

She sees a tall tree,

with grapes hanging on.

Didn't know how to reach them,

but was determined to get them down.

So she started throwing stones,

hiting them hard on the stem.

Couldn't get the grapes,

but ended up damaging some of them.

She didn't lose heart,

but started all over again,

throwing more and more stones,

until she got enough of them.

She was finally successful,

on her seventeenth try.

A huge bunch came down,

she was happy enough to cry.

She went back to the hut,

running at her full speed.

The lady was delighted too,

the bunch of grapes was a good treat.

So let's be determined,

let's be a good being,

and you can achieve anything you want,

and become whatever you want to be.
