The Lonely River

When the evening is dull, the moon shines high and bright and no one surrounds the River banks,

what does the River do?

Does She mourns for Her long voyage to Sea knowing He is still unreached and far,very far beyond the senses!

Does she longs for the Tributaries, She lost one by one on Her way!

Does She feels nostalgic for the green fields and the snow-capped hills where She sprang from!

Does She wishes to be a child again? Does She shares these emotions with us, Is Her solitude equally insane?

The water glitters over Her skin,

birds resting on Her soul.

She remains presentable all day.

But when no one can see Her skin &

birds have reached their home,

What does the river do?

Does She has some secret pleasures too!
