The Land of Unfeeling

They say,

Don’t feel weak, just a heartbreak,

Don’t mourn over someone, part of life,

Destiny, Fate or past karma,

Why don’t they say that “Go ahead and please cry?”

Please cry, feel sad and mourn to the hilt,

Cry till the pain breaks each piece of itself,

Giving some sanity to the heart, 

The emotions, love, bonding,

In this land of unfeeling,

Their prescription is deceiving

The intelligence too artificial,

To being someone else, too brittle,

Masked, caged, Nonhuman,

Why do they drag us away from the truth?

All this time,

Why do they feel so threatened from the sensitives?

The vulnerable, transparent hearts, the malleable ones,

Who mourn, cry, overcome and then to be able to laugh,

To do the dance uninhibited, to live the moment,

Maybe they know the innate power,

Of the ones who feel.
