The Green Zone

The greenery that adorns the earth, is a precious gift of nature.

The green foliage and the mighty trees, resemble the life force brimming with vitality and vigour.

The lush green forest cover is home to unique biodiversity.

It's a sorry plight to see the green cover being cleared away, with such insensitivity.

Thus we are heading towards impending doom.

To face the wrath of nature, that seems to loom.

Some of the species are on the brink of extinction, due to the loss of their habitat.

The chances of survival of all the other life forms are adversely affected due to that.

The aftermath of the ruthless exploitation of natural resources by senseless human beings.

The wildlife is endangered, due to their selfish dealings.

Thus all the life forms are at risk, as all living things are dependent on a food chain.

Then how can we discard that fact again and again?
