The Girl Next Door

Those expressive eyes,

Glistened with a hidden agony,

Those imparted lips,

Silenced the voices of heart.

That evergreen smile,

Hid intolerable pain beneath it.

The mesmerizing voice,

Scoffed to remained unheard.

The purity of her soul,

Packed amidst the walls of the house.

She tarnished herself,

Keeping the society at bay.

But the girl next door

Was more beautiful than she thought.
