The Frog Prince
The Frog Prince
What I saw in my dreams last night
I woke up in the morning with a fright
I was sitting near a pond on a log
Wearing a green coat shinning as a frog
I could stretch my tongue as long with an ease
And roll it down for my friends just to tease
The night was full of butterflies in my tummy
And the grasshopper always tasted so yummy
But one night turned to be a nightmare
When I noticed some strange kind of stare
Within minutes I was landing on a palm
I could hear in my head ring an alarm
Little whispers that I heard were all suggesting,
I was not a usual one but someone's prince charming
Excited and happy, I closed my eyes tight
Only to open them and see the shocking sight
Of course, there was a pretty girl but was holding a net
The fairy tale just ended there, when she called me a charming pet
