The fisherman life….

From ocean so fulfilling and unforgiving, 

I make my living from it

There is no time for wasting

As fish all night and day with nets in it

 

As the drawn draws the ashore is take ride

Selling the catch, for worth the catch price

Fishes with selective to hotel they have to go

As the chef comes to me asking for freshest one or so

 

With huge boats we venture in the unpredictable seas

Hunting for the fishes of the exotic breed

Also sometimes it is hard to expect what we see

There folklore of the mermaid beautiful than beauty

 

As the roaring sound of boat, keep awake whole night

With the strength of our back and sweat of the brow we use all might

From tending next that we cast away waiting fruits fish breed

Sometime it hard I would say there nothing we get eventually

 

Some festivities we too enjoy after Ganesh Charuthi

We don’t venture out sin immersion; lead idol in net is not good choice

Also in rainy season seems the worst it could be

When seas and rain all together made difficult unbearably

 

The cold winters sent shiver down the spine

The seas is also humble and every kind

It’s care of us from dawn to dusk, in it arm we all trust

Sometimes like an angry mom it could frightful to see

But seas is our everything, we relied on it so ultimately

 

Sometime long days at seas, we remember of loved one at home

Though we meet them but you never know it would last owned

There with collection of the money, education and house freely follows

But it is not easy in easy it is humble lover but an unpredictable foe

 

Sometime we have rest to take too

But the work doesn’t stop continue through

Repairing the nets and tend to boats the glide through

The seas is like a life saver, from which we learn too
