The Eyes Say It All

The mirror does not reflect

The love shown in one’s eyes,

There is no second guess

To those incessant sighs.

 

Within the eyes of love

The truth will radiate,

From feelings deep inside

With nowhere to abate.

 

The mirrored cannot show

What the eyes hold in their stare,

In a love so meaningful

And impossible to compare.

 

The eyes speak of volumes

When filled with sweet devotion,

That no mirror could ever show

Or replicate by deep emotion.
