The Darkened Night

As one among the millions of pests

Born into the night of ignorance

I fly into the unknown

And millions up there and down

All I see is darkened light

And many reach out

They dreamt and hoped of good ahead 

But fell to eternal doom.

The desire from the depth of my heart as if an insect that traces it's paths to every light in the dark night

Is to find light that embellishes my soul.

The light of love, the light of peace and truth and real freedom,

The source of my eternal bliss

The fountation of eternal life.

I can see far away is the real light,

But those who reach it are few.

As one among the millions of pests 

But all alone in my journey.

Now I fly into the unknown to reach that light far away.

I see it clear, dim but bright and not darkened light.
