The Cure

As soon as I let you go my lungs started to fill,

The solution was in front of me and yet I trusted the pills.
The ataraxia that your departure gave was a puzzle with no clue,
I solved it somehow but my mind blew.

Not ever had I wondered life could be such a bliss,
Lips full of poison gave the most lovely kiss.
You would surrender yourself in a single touch,
It killed with such mercy that you wouldn't know much.

Yet I survived for my soul was of a yeasayer;
Immune to giving up, I found fighting easier.
The scars that I have are the earnings of hardwork,
For I'm the plain canvas with some strips of artwork.
But don't give up just because you took a fall,
To get back up is solely your call.

You didn't come so far just to see everything fall,
To reach till this spot you had to give your all.
Make each sacrifice count worth a million dollar,
Walk with pride and raise your collar.

You are as weak as your profound thoughts,
It's like filling air into empty pots.
The storage such kind is a false vision,
Get out of it and quit the wrong decision.

Live the life you had always dreamt of,
Put in hard-work and it will pay off.
Just keep faith in your ability after all,
Strength is when you can get back up even after a fall.
