The Cry Of The Earth

Stripped, denuded and damaged

She bore it all, undeterred

Sought to absorb your sinful ways

She tries so hard to regenerate.

She tries so hard to sustain

And Cried out loud "Please Refrain!"

Mankind's Collective conscience

To preserve life She appeals to.

Not a soul has heard her hither to

Others being tough meek,

They care, thank lord

They haven't snapped their umbilical cord.

She begs and yearns all in vain

And cries out loud "Please Refrain"!

Alone,dejected unable to hear

"Your Progress hurts, I bleed I real."

She cries and week silent tears, stares a gape

Prays for humanity to stop the made race

"Don't hurt me, your greed container!"

And Cries out loud "Please Refrain!"
