The Blaze

Surrounding the damp soil
Quivered a hundred stars,
Igniting an army of silver blades,
Piercing the cold green moss.
Spreading it's sharp wings,
The tiny planet mocked,
Revolving and spreading ripples,
Soaking footprints where I walked.
Wet and grey were the rocks,
Fluttering, though still,
As the dancing flow crept
Miles below a topmost hill.
Like forts stood the rocks,
Stronger than the strongest,
Moving not an inch,
Defending to be the best.
Invisible seemed the sword,
Blinking every now and then.
A warrior, none, but the sun,
Awakening earth from heaven.
