   Not wealth, but only tenderness

   Can conquer a hard and sulky heart!

   Even the hears of foes by politeness 

   Who ever were relentlessly hurt;

   A tender word has a soothing effect

  On the heart that was badly crushed!

Wealth and might can fail to affect

  Such heart only tenderness can bless!;

  Tenderness, the panacea of the world
