Everybody wants me

They are ready to sit in front of me for the whole day

"Stop watching and go study"- mothers say

I am the drug which is very addictive for children, the young teenagers.

 

They don't want to open the book

Just want to switch on the TV and have a look

When I arrive, all get happy

When I depart, all get unhappy

The old wants to see me, but the young one took it.

 

I can make people fat

because they only sat

I am very inexorable

They are glued to their seats

They just ride the gravy train!!

 

For time pass, I am used

For knowlege, I am used

You all know about your whereabouts

Because of me

about he as well as she.

 

I am now available everywhere

In some places, I am nowhere

I am both good and bad

I could be disapproved anywhere

I am used by all- good, crank and bad!

 

A child named Tom

who was loved a lot by his mom

was in front of the idiot box.          

Then someone at the door knocks

the daddy came and destroyed the box

 

Tom had a mathematics test the next day

But he would not study lest scolded by his dad

Next day after coming from school

he was not feeling cool rather guilty

and felt that his future is ruined!!
