Summer

Under the heating sun 

   cries for drop of water 

The wells, rivers, tanks 

   dries up with evaporation 

Boys runs for popsicles 

     in bare feet, burning sand 

Travellers in selfies 

  at summerhuts; at beaches 

Candies, colas , ice cream 

  sunglasses, summerhats 

Here and there waving 

       to and fro 

Withered brown leaves 

    lies silently on benches 

Multi coloured umbrellas 

  waving up the sky 

" Summer " a season 

      of sun 

Season cycle rotates 

     and rotates
