We all schoolgoers wait for you!

The sand dunes await your heat,

The birds chirp their tune but hunt for your beat!

The elephant's trumpet,

But the lads are waiting for the Cricket!

The rains have to stop,

As we have to harvest our crop!

It’s time for movies and the popcorn to pop,

And for the children to have ice-creams in an A/C shop!

We wait for watermelons and lychees,

Mangoes are nearly ripe,

And Alphonso is the best of their type!
