Soothing Showers

Drip, drop, drip, drop

On my shorts and top

I'm on the terrace enjoying

But Chennai's showers actually soothe us

Gives us an obstacle everywhere, thus,

We got time to enjoy the pitter and patter

In the morning too, we had seen

The rain pouring down, and lush green

Sprouting - Its babies poking heads out

Let's hope Chennai is

Always - in monsoon - like this

Giving us Soothing Showers......................
