Take me to the silver shrine

Where you hide all of your secrets and stories

The place where you hide your pain

Perhaps in that place, I'll find the mountain holding the tree of life a

And with life in my handsy

Your warm forgiveness will finally come

And melt the frost of my soul

You will remember that we are twin children born of the same moon and stars, for the same purpose, the same fate

Deeply-held roots from the tree of life have forever entwined our fates together

Even though we never meet and never speak

Lacking blood, lacking linage

So cloudless the night sky where I build cairns of regret and despair

Waiting in eternal twilight for that forgiveness that you still quietly hide

Safe inside your silver shrine.
