Silence

Silence

2 mins
13.2K

She whispered in my ears, I opened my eyes to hear,

Looked around but found no one, closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

Minutes passed but I was restless on bed, wondering about the incident!!

When I came out of room I found that clock hands were showing sharp.

I was feeling like half drunk in a silent room.

I looked for people but found myself alone,

Silence was mocking at me in that room,

I sat down on floor and started staring on wall.

I have no questions in my head but a bucket full of answers making my mind hay.

I can't imagine how time passed but 5 minutes later clock hands were showing sharp five.

I got up from floor, rushed in hurry for my usual day.

Draining a busy day,                                                                       I was lying on bed like a corpse on coming back home.

I have no one to speak to other than walls, they are the only friend of mine in a silent hall.

When I was lying on my bed, a familiar voice whispered something in my ears,

I was blank, shouting badly but mine only friend absorbed my sound comfortably.

I was in a dilemma after this shout whether to react further or to remain quiet

I choose to remain quiet.

Night was the same as before.

I was looking for questions to my answers.

I was feeling strange but not bad.

Same sound travels in my room till now but difference is that I have questions for my answers now.
