Secular, Casteism, Communalism

This is a secular country that we live in,

Yet the tales of casteism and communalism always find a place to dwell in,

In the name of caste, race and religion, thousands of lives are sacrificed or instead taken away,

At that point of time no single voice finds it's way,

To differentiate what's right and what's not,

Cause this is a country where you can kill just on the basis of a doubt.

He was a poor man having no prowess to even scar somebody,

Yet he got killed, after all he was a Muslim and they all just eat beef.

We are the country, where killing an animal is a blasphemy but killing a human being is just a sacred sacrifice.

What kind of a humanity is it?

When to have a new birth, one life is sacrificed,

When to get a place for temple, thousands of people are killed,

When to celebrate a festival, the goddess is gifted with the blood of a person having different faith.

No, this is not a race for which Lord Ram went in exile ,

These are not the people who were taught by Lord Krishna to fight for the truth,

This is not the place where Sai Ram himself renounced everything to live the life of a beggar,

Because how could it be when this is the race led by those people in the same place who believe All Muslims are terrorists & they must be killed, All Christians are westerners and they must be abandoned, All Sikhs are violent and better to keep them distant.

In the name of religion, what we practice is to keep a track record of how we are different and better than the others, what we do is to make sure our children are better learned enough to impart the same preaching to generation after generation.

But yes, Not to forget, This is INDIA, It is a Secular and Democratic nation which gives you the right to follow the caste and religion of your choice.

Only in this process, manipulation is something that can always be tried.
