Saharanpur

I did not like to come here before,

Only place to visit was my Nana's door,

The city was not in my good books,

As everyone here had strange looks.

But fate had something else in store for me,

May be for the disrespect I had for the city,

I landed up in Saharanpur "as busy as a bee",

Did not even have the time to pity.

Travelling across the town,

In my usual T-shirt and jeans,

I was looked at more like a clown,

While watching the landscapes and the scenes.

Court Road changed Saharanpur's outlook in my mind,

Now my teeth I did not have to grind,

OMG! The city had modernized,

Each and every element had been carefully scrutinized.

But Raiwala is no far behind,

In reading the customer's mind,

It comes out as a "shopper's paradise",

Good things available at a reasonable price.

Staying here has brought me close to my religion,

Time has made me understand that it's not a mere pigeon,

The place has made me patient and given me experience,

Made me clear the fact that "deceptives are appearance".

Saharanpur is an amalgam of new and old,

This makes the city one of its kind,

Now I love the town tenfold,

Wow! This is just an amazing find!
