Sacrifices For My Land

So many dead bodies on the borders

Due to the fight and many orders,

While here in the cities we are lounging

Living in buildings and sky-touching towers.

Bombs, guns and terrorists everywhere

Indian soldiers fighting and dying in despair,

While their families are waiting in their houses

For the bodies which cannot be repaired.

That is why I am grateful to the Indian soldiers

Who have been shot by guns and crushed by boulders,

They have been sacrificing themselves

To save our lives and to act as best promise holders.
