Waves now settled, boats have drowned; still the sailor is confident

Pick up the ax, saw the logs, build the boat; time to ascend

COVID-19 had knocked us out, everything seems to stale

Time has come to wear our uniforms and live our previous tale

Debts and rents ahead, scant money in hand, future seems jinxed

Everybody's keeping their hopes high now that the pandemic has fixed

Some of us tormented by the quarantine; the mind is filled with litter

Time to ask our friends to love, shout, giggle and jitter

Let's listen to people talking, turn pages of text, grapple on the next

No more time for Netflix, FaceTimin' and WhatsApp jests

We have lost millions of lives; the incurred scar will heal

The GDP curve has flattened too; work inflexibility, every second is real!!
