Quarantine Poem 2

Dear diary,

Today was the second day of lockdown,

And I didn't hear those honking sounds.

I know the pandemic is horrible,

But the fraternity among the world is laudable.

There are no pollution nor civil wars,

The sky is clear with dazzling stars.

I wish that the virus goes away,

But the other situation stays the same.

Today was the second day of Navratri, you know,

We made sweet bread that was soft and mellow.

And yeah, dad went to work today as well.

It's time to sleep and hence, here the entry ends.
