Pristine Love

I remember the day, I first saw him

Walking closer and closer, 

Towards me

With those blue eyes, 

He caught me

So cordial, so ardent

So warm, such love!

Yes! I fell for him! 

Was never a believer of "first sight" love?

But 'HE' made me believe in one.

Just not my heart, I already gave my whole self to him

I didn't care if it was reciprocated 

Because it wasn't needed 

I could see his eyes,

So pristine so pure

I could feel him breathe,

As if we breathe together

I could see his soul,

That touched my soul

I wanted him to be mine... 

Wanting this forever to never end

I wanted to love unconditionally 

Waiting desperately 

For his approval 

Just like waiting for the summer

I remember the day he held my hand! 

Everything became so meaningful 

His hands so soft, and the touch so naive

The purest of all, 

He finally called me 'MOM'

And... 

As I knew! 

I didn't choose HIM! 

He chose ME! 

Just as he loved me like a son

I loved him like a mother!
