Prayer For A Healthier You

As I watch over you tonight

Lord give me his pain, I pray holding you tight.

When I touch your blazing body,

My heart shatters to a thousand pieces

Get well soon my baby, I miss your wet kisses.

My mind keeps fighting the negative thoughts

I now just want to get you back in form

I note down the degrees, hoping for a one lower

I take your warm hands into my hands, wondering what I could better

When I hear and feel you cough, I know I have to be tough.

When I hear your weak voice,I hold you close 'Mumma's here my sweetheart', I say

I yearn to see your smiling face, which lightens up my day

As the clock ticks away into the morning

I hope for a healthier you, my darling.
