People At The Park

People At The Park

Trembling hands, wilted backs, and lingering souls

Slouched on the flat, woody park chairs

Besides the leaves neglected from the superior lush trees.

Some silver strands of mellow threads stay collecting the rustling mud

Left behind from the hustle of play.

From under the branches return-

A little laugh or a shrug content beneath those scruffy wrinkles.
