Peacock -Forever Friend

I saw a peacock flying by

I gave him a smiling 'hi''

I cried "Look ! There's a peacock over there

With elegant wings that needed much care"

He flew past by us,

Like a swift bus.

As we reached him,

We saw his claws very thin.

Again the race started,

Again he darted.

I think he was afraid,

That someone would get him paid.

I thought he needed some shade,

And a quick juicy lemonade.

Now it was the time to rescue him,

For the sake of his elegant wings and claws thin.

I touched his feathers,

His courage gathered.

He hugged me and I hugged him,

Like best friends forever.
