Peace In The Rubble

 

All's quiet,

And among the rubble

I found a moment of peace.

The blue sky

Deprived of its white clouds,

Seems to be edging towards dusk now

And the stars above burn bright

Far far away

But it's enough,

Enough to make me smile,

And sigh a relief,

That's when everything is falling apart,

Among the chaos

I still have a reason to hold on to,

To hope and keep moving.
