Parents
Parents
No matter how superannuated or modish,
Parents will never let you been roguish.
They are a mascot of your life,
Your single tear stabs them with 1000 knives.
Seeing their immortal love, even the stones will cry out,
Calling them god of their kids don’t raise any doubt.
The journey from your foetus to skeleton,
They will always succour you without any condition.
The cordial kiss of your mother on your forehead,
Clandestinely heal all your distress and makes you move ahead.
The covert support of your father,
Gives you fortitude to which you don’t need to bother.
Treating you like an angel sent from the heaven above,
Their foremost aim is to keep you forever with love.
They can stay sleepless, hungry or torment,
Least you can do is solace and support them in senescence.
They are the root cause behind your success,
They have eyes just to see you progress.
They selflessly sacrifice their own life just to see you shine,
You owe your life to them, never forget this line.
